About Me

My photo
Wendy Allen
I hold a Certificate in Genealogical Studies with honors from the Genealogical Studies Institute, and I've served as President of the Southwest Colorado Genealogical Society since February 2016. My background includes work as an archaeologist and park ranger, and a career as an educator before retiring. My research follows ancestors across Denmark, Ohio, Kentucky, and Utah — following paper trails, old photographs, and family stories back through the generations. When I'm not digging through records, I enjoy travel and time outdoors.
